Projects is designed so your plans stay yours. The developer doesn't collect, see, sell or share your information. There are no accounts, ads, analytics or tracking.
Information on Your Devices
Your projects, tasks, phases, people, notes, saved content, header photos and settings are stored on your devices. The developer has no copy of them and no way to access them.
iCloud
When you're signed in to iCloud, Projects keeps your information up to date across your devices using your private iCloud database. Apple stores and protects this data under its iCloud terms and privacy policy. The developer can't see it. You can turn off iCloud for Projects in Settings at any time.
Shared Projects
When you share a project, its contents, including the people on it and its photos, are copied to a shared space in iCloud so the people you invite can view and edit it. People in a shared project can see each other's names. The owner can stop sharing, and anyone else can leave, at any time.
Reminders and Calendar
If you turn on syncing with Reminders or Calendar, Projects reads and updates your reminders and events on your device to keep them in step with your tasks. This only happens with your permission, which you can change in Settings.
Contacts
Projects reads your contacts only when you choose Add from Contacts, and only the contacts you allow. The names, email addresses or phone numbers, and photos of the people you add are saved with your projects. Nothing else from your contacts is kept.
Photos
When you add a header photo, the system photo picker gives Projects only the photo you choose. Projects doesn't have access to the rest of your library.
Link Previews
When you save a link, Projects loads the page's title and preview image directly from that website, much as a browser would. That website receives a request from your device under its own privacy policy.
Purchases
Projects Pro is purchased through the App Store. Apple handles payment, and Projects only learns whether your subscription is active. The developer never receives your payment details.
Children
Projects isn't directed at children under 13 and doesn't knowingly collect information from anyone.
Keeping and Deleting Your Information
You can delete projects, tasks and people in the app at any time. Deleting the app removes its information from that device. To remove information stored in iCloud, go to Settings > [your name] > iCloud > Manage Storage.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will appear here with a new date.
