Privacy Policy

Last updated October 30, 2026

Sensor is a camera, and your photos are yours. The developer doesn't collect, see, sell or share your information. There are no accounts, ads, analytics or tracking, and Sensor doesn't connect to the internet.

Information on Your iPhone

The photos you take are saved to your photo library. Sensor also keeps copies of your 24 most recent photos inside the app for its viewer, along with your settings and lens profiles. All of this stays on your device. The developer has no copy of it and no way to access it.

Camera

Sensor uses the camera only to show the viewfinder and take the photos you ask for, while Sensor or its Lock Screen camera is open. Nothing the camera sees is recorded or sent anywhere.

Photo Library

Sensor asks only for permission to add photos. It can save the photos you take, but it can't see, read or change anything else in your library.

Photo Details

Like any camera, Sensor saves details with each photo, such as the exposure, lens and iPhone model. Sensor never asks for your location, so your photos don't include it. Free photos also carry a small watermark showing the iPhone model and exposure.

Motion and Compass

The level, steadiness check and compass read your iPhone's motion sensors as you shoot. These readings stay on the device and aren't saved.

Apple Watch

The Apple Watch remote shutter talks directly to your paired iPhone. It sends only the request to take a photo and whether it worked. No photos are sent to the watch.

Purchases

Sensor Pro is purchased through the App Store. Apple handles payment, and Sensor only learns whether you own Sensor Pro. The developer never receives your payment details.

Children

Sensor isn't directed at children under 13 and doesn't knowingly collect information from anyone.

Keeping and Deleting Your Information

Photos saved to your library are managed in the Photos app. Sensor's own copies are replaced automatically as you take new photos. Deleting the app removes its copies and settings from your device.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will appear here with a new date.
